VMware Directory Service – zmiana rozmiaru bazy.

Czasami może zdarzyć się sytuacja gdy dotrzemy do limitu bazy danych VMware Directory Service dla vCSA.
Może to się objawiać brakiem możliwości dodania nowych licencji czy założenia użytkowników w bazie SSO.

Kroki jakie można podjąć w tej sytuacji to zmiana tego limitu za pomocą następujących poleceń:

/opt/likewise/bin/lwregshell
> prompt. 3.
cd HKEY_THIS_MACHINE\services\vmdir\parameters
dir (lub ls)
add_value MaximumDbSizeMb REG_DWORD 0x00002048

Później wystarczy już tylko zrestarować VMware Directory Service i sprawdzić czy procedura odniosła zamierzony skutek.
